Hi! I’m Joe, a Brooklyn-based content strategist and UX leader with 10+ years of experience translating complex systems into user-centered solutions across varied industries. Through this site, I share my work, insights, and the values that drive me.
How I Got Here
My background spans UX/UI design, instructional design, and product and program management — often at the intersection of technology, learning, and systems change. Over the years, I’ve led cross-functional initiatives, shipped products in fast-paced environments, and helped teams navigate ambiguity with purpose and creativity.
More recently, I’ve been channeling that experience toward the climate and energy space — especially grid modernization, electrification, and the technologies shaping a more resilient, decarbonized future. I’m driven by a belief that design and systems thinking are crucial to climate progress, and I’m actively building the next chapter of my career in that direction.
Whether I’m mapping customer journeys, designing onboarding flows, or shaping product strategy, I’m most in my element when solving human problems with thoughtful, mission-aligned solutions.

I keep a Substack that I update weekly, where you can find my long-form thoughts and insights on the challenges currently facing the climate tech and energy industries.
Additionally, I am writing a climate-centric, utopian sci-fi novel that will be released in Fall 2025! In today’s environment, I think hope is more needed than ever, so I’ve written Arcadia to provide a new and grounded optimistic vision of our shared future.
